“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”

~ Mahatma Gandhi

We started as a group of volunteers, united by their love for animals. Our devotion to rescuing, caring and finding home for stray dogs and cats helped a lot of animals be saved. Inspired by these results, we decided to set up our animal rescue foundation - “Sharo”.

The problems we face:

  • Not enough control of the stray animals populations
  • No adequate medical care for stray animals
  • No adequate laws to prevent people from buying and abandoning stray animals
  • Crimes and violence against animals

How we can solve them:

  • Educate pet owners on the need for castration
  • Partner with vet clinics to help care for animals in need
  • Consult the authorities and lawmakers on the need for stricter law enforcement
  • Build a cosy shelter for the abandoned animals
  • Find a happy home for the abandoned animals
  • Create a positive attitude and care towards the stray animals

What do we need to solve them:

  • Donate - help us provide food and medical care by becoming a benefactor
  • Volunteer - we always need people to drive animals to the doctors and help us with other things
  • Customers - we don’t want to just rely on donations. You can shop our products here - all money goes back to the foundation and it used for the above purposes.
  • Open your home - open your home and adopt a furry friend. Believe us, it’s the best feeling ever!

Finally, we hope that by accomplishing our goals, we will create opportunities to help humans and animals get to know and love each other; we want to awaken, nurture and encourage a sense of responsibility in people towards animals, whose destiny is in our hands. They depend on us. It is our duty to care for those we decided to domesticate hundreds of years ago. Today, just like then, we are once again in the position of the power. Let us be noble and caring and treat those in need with kindness and compassion.
